How results are produced
Metric geometry uses sidewall = section width × aspect ratio / 100; diameter = wheel diameter × 25.4 + two sidewalls; circumference = π × diameter. Speed estimates use the ratio of new to original nominal diameter.
Sources and corrections
The chart contains 491 metric size codes listed by TireSize.com: widths of 175–355 mm, aspect ratios of 25–85 and wheel diameters of 15–22 inches. Dimensions follow the size-code formulas. For a particular tire model, compare the manufacturer’s published dimensions. Send corrections to [email protected].
Catalog coverage
The chart lists metric size codes. The calculator also accepts flotation notation such as 35x12.5R17.
Catalog snapshot: 1 November 2026. The source’s size codes provide the inputs for the dimension calculations.
Using the catalog
Browse by size or wheel diameter, or enter a reference size to find codes within your diameter and width limits. Use the resulting dimensions to compare published tire-model specifications and the vehicle requirements.
